I just finished an assigment about robosoccer. People simulate soccer, actually football is what it should be called, using robots. Giving them stats and skills and team strategies. The research uses RoboCop Soccer Simulator. Personally, I think the system is not up to date. I guess the researcher has never played PES or Football Manager. There’s a whole bunch of football simulation there. When you think about it, it’s pretty amazing what game developers do. I think they’re the people who imagine and influence today’s future. I wanted to be a game developer when I was a kid. Hope it’s not too late. :)
